Overseas Vehicle Shipping FAQs

What is Roll-On Roll-Off? (also known as ro-ro)

Roll-on roll-off is the most common form of overseas vehicle shipping. The vehicle is loaded on to the vessel under deck on a ship specifically reserved for vehicle freight forwarding.

Can You Collect My Vehicle?

We can arrange collection from any private address or UK dealership and delivery to the port of departure. Our transporters and drivers treat your vehicle with expert care.

What Do You Require From Me?

All we need from you is a copy of your vehicle’s V5 registration document and the purchase invoice.

Will My Vehicle Be Insured?

Yes, we offer two insurance policies to our customers.

The All Risks option is our fully comprehensive policy for vehicles under 10 years old only. This covers all eventualities such as loss or damage to the vehicle. There is an excess of £250 or 1% of the value of the vehicle on each claim.

Our Total Loss policy is for vehicles over 10 years old or clients looking for a basic package. This covers loss of the vehicle, i.e. if it were to be destroyed or stolen.
